What Personal Data We Process

Personal data you provide to us

We process personal data that you provide to us directly.

Personal data we obtain other than directly from you

Within the scope of joint marketing campaigns, we may also process your personal data. For the purposes of marketing campaigns, or for the purposes of proper fulfilment of a contract, we may combine them.

In the event that your personal data are transferred to another entity, we will inform you in advance, including specifying to whom the personal data are being transferred. If someone transfers your personal data to us, they must also inform you in advance.

Personal data of third parties that you provide to us

If you provide us with personal data of third parties, it is your responsibility to inform the person concerned and to obtain their consent to these privacy conditions.

Personal data we process automatically

When you visit our website, we may collect certain information about you, such as your IP address, the date and time of access to our website, information about your internet browser, operating system, or language settings. We may also process information about your behaviour on our website, i.e. for example which links you visit and which products are displayed to you.

Why We Collect and Process Your Personal Data

We process your personal data for the following reasons:

• Purchase of goods and services: we process your personal data in order to properly fulfil and deliver your order.
• Customer care: if you contact us with a query or problem, we must process your data in order to resolve it.

Legal Bases on Which We Process Personal Data

Performance and conclusion of a contract

We require a large portion of your personal data in order to enter into a contract with you and to properly deliver the purchased goods. On the basis of this legal ground, we process primarily billing and delivery data.

Legitimate interests

We also use your personal data to provide you with relevant content. On the basis of legitimate interests, we process in particular personal data obtained automatically and cookies. If we process your personal data on the basis of this legal ground, you may object to such processing.

Consent

For the purposes of sending commercial communications, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@optosmart.cz.

Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

We transfer your personal data to third parties in the following cases:

• Delivery of goods: the carrier is authorised to process personal data solely for the purposes of delivery and must delete them without delay thereafter.
• Commercial communications: a third party bound by a confidentiality obligation may be used when sending commercial communications.
• State authorities: in the event of a statutory obligation, personal data may be transferred to state authorities.

How Long Do We Process Your Personal Data?

We process your data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship. In the case of processing based on consent, your personal data will be processed for a period of 7 years, or until consent is withdrawn. Personal data necessary for the fulfilment of statutory obligations are processed for the period stipulated by the relevant legal regulations (e.g. for tax documents, a minimum of 10 years).

Cookies containing user behaviour data are deleted after 30 days; older data are available in anonymised form.

Security of Personal Data

Your personal data are safe with us. We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures. The security measures adopted are regularly updated.

What Rights You Have in Connection with the Protection of Your Personal Data

In relation to your personal data, you have in particular:

Access and portability

You may request that we send you a summary of your personal data, including information on the purposes of processing, categories of personal data, recipients, and the planned retention period.

Erasure

Lodging an objection

You may lodge an objection to the processing of personal data processed on the basis of legitimate interests by emailing info@optosmart.cz.

Lodging a complaint

If you believe that we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.cz). We would appreciate it if you address any issues with us first: info@optosmart.cz.
